El Mercadito de Altea is the local indoor food market that can be found on the main street in Altea. Alongside local produce you can have a bite to eat at the on-site cafe. Try a local delicacy - an Empanada - and be amazed at the low-cost of the fresh fruit and vegetables. A great environment to try out speaking some Spanish too.
