Pro tip: order the shrimp and grits! This is a very popular dinner spot in downtown Athens. We love to get food to-go and picnic across the street, on the lawn at north campus of the University of Georgia!

One of our favorite restaurants. You must try the fried chicken and if you are a bourbon drinker the peanut bourbon is a treat!

Don't let the ambiguous name fool you. This southern cuisine restaurant is no joke. Great prices and awesome food. My personal favorite is their buttermilk fried (you can get it grilled, but carpe diem am I right?)chicken sandwich. They have a great brunch as well as dinner. If you are in town on the weekend and want to go for dinner, go a little early, there will be a wait.
