Texas Monthly Magazine, the authority on all things BBQ in Texas, ranked Interstellar the #2 BBQ spot in Texas in 2021. We frequent Interstellar a lot, and the Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly is a must! Also, the mac & cheese and potatoes are by far the best sides you will find anywhere. BEWARE: If you go on a Saturday, the line can be quite long. I would plan to go for an early lunch to avoid sellouts.

Like many of the restaurants in my area, this great little barbeque place is actually one of the best in northeast Austin. Every single one of their offerings are served a-la-carte, and weighed up to create whatever kind of plate you'd like for yourself, or even create a selection of fantastic things for a whole family or group you might want to bring. They are only open for select hours and days throughout the week, and generally only for early lunch and dinner (when they begin running out of all their delicious meats that are smoked on-sight)! Everything about them, from their meat dishes to their side-dishes and desserts, are fantastic!
