If you don’t want to stand in line at Franklin’s BBQ, here’s the next best thing. Go around 11:30am and you should be able to walk right up and order some amazing BBQ.
We’re serving up Central Texas barbecue with recipes exclusive to la Barbecue. Owner LeAnn Mueller hates the sweet stuff, so you’ll find special blends of salty and savory rubs, absolutely no sugar added to our coleslaw, and throwback dishes honoring LeAnn’s German relatives. Don’t forget the…
Inside the Quickie Pickie. There will be a line, but not as long as Franklin's.
This gets rave reviews. Started as a barbecue food truck, and now has a small dining room. Downtown Eastside
The best BBQ in Austin!! Tell Ali and LeAnn, that Debbie Knows Austin sent ya! Get there before 10:30am, since they open at 11am. Lines look long, but go quickly. Get a beer from the Quickie Pickie while you wait. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
You've heard about Franklin, but we think la Barbecue is the spot. Both sell out daily, so we recommend calling in a takeout order and hopping on a boat on Lake Austin!
This bbq is delicious! Open until sold out so get their early. So worth the wait!!
