Our favorite town in Vietnam. Beguiling and historic atmosphere and plenty to see and do, amazingly yummy restaurants and street food. Very romantic at night, especially by the main river.

Ancient Hindu temple. There are 70 temples in 13 different groups. Many suffered damage from American carpet bombing in the 1970s but enough have been reconstructed to make a visit worthwhile.
