It is a 16-mile gorge. This is an amazing journey into nature. But it needs good preparation because it is about 4 hours hiking. Its conclusion is in Agia Roumeli, an amazing traditional area. From there you go by boat to Sfakia and return to Chania by bus.
One of the biggest votanic garden in Greece and the only one at Crete. You can see several herbs and trees all over the world. There is also a small lake inside the garden with ducks and peackos. You will need 2 hours to walk the garden and after your walk you can eat traditional Cretan food at the Taverna near the garden enjoying the amazing view. If you have small kids you have to now that you cant pass the garden with baby stroller.
