Parks & Nature
It's free to enter the park. Great for walking and exploring the local outdoors. The path is about 2 miles round trip. You can see Floridian vegetation, turtles, fish, and local birds. It also has places to swim, kayak, and paddle in the crystal clear spring water. There are signs posted throughout the trail that gives information about the local trees and animals. Very educational and relaxing walk!

State park within 2 miles of my home. They have great walking trails into the local forest, camping, kayak rentals, boat ramp, and swimming in the bay. Here you will see all kinds of wildlife. If you rent a kayak you can paddle up Rocky Creek, which is a fresh water spring that runs into the bay. It's crystal clear water will allow you to see turtles, fish and the occasional alligator! During your paddle upstream you will also encounter bald eagles and ospreys looking down on you searching for their next fish. It is a local favorite and perfect for the adventurous!

This is an amazing area! Tons of restaurants, live music, bars, shops, and night life. They often have beer and wine festivals. Check out the tequila bar during your walk through Baytowne. Their Facebook will have event dates and times.

Very nice restaurant! The food is very good and the staff are all professional. An older crowd hangs out there and it is a really fun time! Wednesday and Friday 7pm they have a live band and it's very lively. I recommend!
