The trail is off of June Road in New Preston, and while the hike is not too long, the views are spectacular. You'll overlook Lake Waramaug, and in the fall it is particularly gorgeous. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate, coffee, snacks and hang out at the top on the large stones. What a vista!!

100 Christian StThe trail is off of June Road in New Preston, and while the hike is not too long, the views are spectacular. You'll overlook Lake Waramaug, and in the fall it is particularly gorgeous. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate, coffee, snacks and hang out at the top on the large stones. What a vista!!
Long Meadow Pond is located 1 mile from the house. It is a quaint small pond for swimming, barbecue's, fishing, and a play area for kids (playscape) and swings.
