Very large, posh rooftop bar downtown with absolutely spectacular views. It has a very loungy feel with lots of couches to hang out on. Prepare to overpay a little for drinks, but totally worth in my opinion.

Really pretty spot along Katy Trail (a popular walking trail) good for hanging out with friends and a beer. The trees are filled with christmas lights and there's sportsball on all the TVs! Feel free to bring your dog!

Super cute little bar/coffee shop/book store in a converted house. Large backyard with frequent events going on. This entire neighborhood is my absolute favorite in all of Dallas.

The wise people of Dallas converted the top of a downtown highway tunnel into a park and it is one of my favorite spots. The park has several restaurants, ranging from fancy to burger bar, as well as a line of food trucks. Also large fields to play in, an off-leash dog park, a reading room, ping-pong tables, a playground, and a putt putt range. It's situated in the middle of some very tall, very pretty skyscrapers.

This place is, hands down, one of the coolest places I have ever been. Step inside and you're magically in a 5-story rainforest with monkeys, crocodiles, otters, penguins, puffins, a manatee, jellyfish, SLOTHS! I could go on. There are animals I swear came out of a Dr. Seuss book. Never has a place so quickly made me nearly explode with childhood joy. I can't truly describe how cool this place is... but I feel like it should be a requirement for visiting Dallas. Note: Not actually an aquarium, more like a gigantic indoor forest.

Enjoy the quirky and hilarious pre-movie YouTube compilations that are themed after your movie. It's all around an awesome experience.
