Food Scene

This is our favourite place to hang out. They have a great terrace with a lot of sun but it’s also super cosy inside. Nice people, good food and just 2 minutes away.

Terrasmus is a great place to go, especially with kids. It’s in the Erasmuspark next to the playground. You can enjoy coffee in the park and they have also great smoothies and grilled cheese sandwiches. The even serve them in the playground! (closed on Mondays)

Frits is bit of a hipster bar where they serve mostly beer and burgers. They have a lot of different, locally brewed, beers. Also a lot of great gin & tonics!

This weird looking, mushroom shaped building on the Mercatorplein is actually quite a good place to have lunch or a drink. They have a cosy fireplace to gather around when the rain’s pouring down.

I love this place for almost everything! They have the best coffee, great pizza’s, breakfast for sinners and saints and everything in between. It’s a bit further away but on the way to the city centre.

To be honest, I’ve never bin here myself because I’m a bit afraid of the hipster thing that’s going on here… But I’ve heard the have great coffee

Parks & Nature

We look out over this small but beautifully green park. It's a great place for a short stroll or a morning jog. The cafe Terrasmus is one of our favourite hang-outs with our kids.
