Additionally, it has a cellar bar, as well as the Carter the Great Bar. While every room in McMenamins is interesting and comfortable, probably the best thing about it is their hours - you can count on them to be open to eat and drink early for breakfast/brunch and late for closing down the town!

There are wonderful walking trails through Wallace Marine Park and a pedestrian bridge that takes you over the Willamette River to Salem's Riverfront Park offers amazing views. No matter what your age - seeing over 40 hand-carved carousel horses on the Riverfront Carousel is amazing. Each horse has its' own sponsor and a unique story.
