Created in the 40s, this large green space is the result of the joining of the gardens of Palácio Condes Castro Guimarães (Counts of Castro Guimarães Palace) with the property of the Viscount of Gandarinha. This beautiful wild park provides a shady retreat from the seaside crowds, with a duck pond, birch and pine trees, palms and eucalyptus, rose gardens and flowering shrubs.

The museum contains a varied collection of items including 17th century Oriental art, Indo-Portuguese furniture and an assortments of other varied artifacts. Open every day between 10:00 until 17:00 except for Mondays .
