My favorite curry noodles comes from Ah Yen Café. Be sure to be early as he sells VERY FAST. Non-Halal . They also have other stalls as well. I love having his curry noodles especially on rainy days, reminds me of my grandmother's curry.

The Granary is somewhere I'd go for a night's out for a good steak with my girlfriends / loved ones. The ambience is rustic, romantic, mysterious, nomadic. It serves good western dishes, wine and beersl, TUAK ( a variety of local rice wine - MUST TRY!) , and desserts. I believe they open for lunch , definitely for dinner but they close early, around 11pm.
Don't forget to take pictures with the murals .... tip : look up the building.
The Granary Kitchen + Bar
23 Wayang StThe Granary is somewhere I'd go for a night's out for a good steak with my girlfriends / loved ones. The ambience is rustic, romantic, mysterious, nomadic. It serves good western dishes, wine and beersl, TUAK ( a variety of local rice wine - MUST TRY!) , and desserts. I believe they open for lunch , definitely for dinner but they close early, around 11pm.
Don't forget to take pictures with the murals .... tip : look up the building.

Go early, around 630pm. They open for dinner only. It's by the road side, beside the huge car wash.

They also have awesome roti kahwin (toasties with kaya) , healthy and delicious popiah . From snacks such as Fried Durian , to BBQ seafood to all the Sarawakian delicacies , this place will keep you spoilt for choices ! Not wise to go on a rainy night though, as it is in an open space.

I come here a lot for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. This is my favourite Chinese-go-to restaurant. For breakfast, I believe they have the best dim sum In the entire of Kuching. I kinda feel like I'm in a Hongkee Restaurant. Value for money, scrumptious food and good service provided.
After a meal, work it out by walking around Boulevard Shopping Mall. Good exercise.

On Weekends, occasionally they have a fleece bazaar where sellers set up stalls to sell tiny trinkets, clothes to baby wear.
There's an Organic shop that has their own little café which serves organic Laksa, other food and drinks. A shot of fresh wheatgrass perhaps ?
