Hales Turgus is an indoor market where you can enjoy breakfast, a coffee or a dinner. We love this place because the people of Vilnius come together here. You can find hipster style restaurants but as well old ladies selling their local grown vegetables.

It's an old defense fortress from where you have a great view over the district of Uzupis and the Gediminas tower. There is a little park that is nice for a picnic.

This newly renovated city park is great to spend some time with with kids. It's alongside of a little river (nice to walk through in hot summer days) and there is a big playground for kids. Don't expect to be in the middle of the nature. From the park you can get to the hill of crosses (on the other side of the river).
