Parks & Nature
Nice park with lake full of swans and ducks. There is a place to have tea and a nibble, a children's playground and plenty of space to run or kick a ball around. Live bands often play on Sunday's in the summer.

A well managed forest, perfect for families, horse riders, naturalist and walkers. Popular for the treetop walk that takes you 15 metres above the woodland floor, giving some lovely bird's eye-views over the wood and the countryside around. If you feel a little wobble here, or bounce there, don't worry... it's built that way.
Explore the walking trails, family 5 mile cycle route and a 5 mile horse riding trail.
Also, very nice cafe, picnic areas and children's play area.
It is also accessible for wheelchairs at 1.5 metres wide, with a gradient at just under 1:109, and there are resting points every 24 metres.

A well managed forest, perfect for families, horse riders, naturalist and walkers. Popular for the treetop walk that takes you 15 metres above the woodland floor, giving some lovely bird's eye-views over the wood and the countryside around. If you feel a little wobble here, or bounce there, don't worry... it's built that way.

Climb through the tunnels or over the logs in Brock Wood woodland play area with a slide that entertained our Grandson for hours.

Ideal place for walks, cycle rides, wildlife spotting and family picnics. Circular, well-marked hard surfaced trails through woodlands meadows and grassland with far reaching views over the water. Also a nice cafe, a visitor centre and a great play area for the children.

A Grade 1 stately home, estate and small civil parish held by the Spencer family for more than 500 years. It was also home to, Lady Diana Spencer, the late princess of Wales, before her marriage to Charles, Prince of Wales. Following her death in 1997, Diana was laid to rest in the grounds of Althorp house and the family created an extensive museum exhibition as a memorial to reflect on her life and work.
