Great for drinks - vegetarian food is decent. It's a super-hip, usually busy, but casual spot to get some sangria, a beer, and nachos. Get the nachos. They're great for sharing.

If you're in BC looking for big trees and beautiful nature, you can't do much better than Lynn Canyon. Best if you have a car, but also accessible by bus. Waterfalls! Free suspension bridge!

Highpoint in the city - great for views. There's a super fancy restaurant called Seasons in the Park which is excellent. There's also pitch and putt, and tennis courts.

Great park. Lots to do within. The seawall is great to walk, run or cycle. Absolutely beautiful views.
