The Vineyard is owned by our friends Carl, an attorney, and Frances, a pastry chef, along with their four young children who often help out and bring their joy to the Weingarten. This has been a new find for us as the outside doesn't seem like a place you'd want to go... but inside you discover this area used to be the Stable for Polo back in the day. Enjoy a local tasting room that features Texas liquors and selected Texas Hill Country wines along with a great charcuterie selection and amazing hand-crafted cocktails. They are now open Thurs-Sun mornings for Ranch Road Roasters coffee and baked goods from 7 to 11 am.

We love making the 19min scenic drive up Ranch Rd 965 to enjoy the massive granite dome rising above Central Texas to enjoy the scenery and rock formations. Beyond hiking the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, you can backpack, rock climb, picnic, bird, study nature, geocache and stargaze. (NOTE: You cannot swim here or ride bikes on the trails.)
