This is one of my favorite restaurants. As Colombian I think this is a pure representation of our gastronomic culture.
The proposal of this restaurant is to delight us with "Cazuelitas" of the best Colombian gastronomy. Cazuelitas de Ajico Bogotano, Cazuelita Cundiboyacense, & Cazuelita de Mondongo are examples of their menu. However, the most famous one is Cazuelita Arrieros, which is considered the symbol of the place.

This place has different environments suitable for a few drinks, dinner or "rumba" (party). There is live music and midnight shows. It is a fairly a comfortable place with good sound. I personally love the "rumba" there.

To have a complete Colombian experience I highly recommend this "vallenato" house. This popular music is an enjoyable style that makes a great accompaniment to any Colombian party and it goes down smoothly with a nice box of "Aguardiente".

Sightseeing
This is a must if you are in Bogota. Monserrate is a mountain that dominates the city center of Bogotá. It is a very easy and cheap way to have a great view of the city as well as learn more about Colombian culture. It is normally cold, but you can enjoy going up by taking the "telesferico" or the "funicular" (train).

His work and style, called Boterismo, is fascinating, as it usually depicts people and animals in exaggerated proportions and volumes. His work is displayed in museums around the world. You can see a mini representation of his work on the living room. There are 2 Botero statues.
