Skiddaw can be accessed by foot from South View. It is the 4th highest peak in England so is not for the faint hearted. It weill take you most of the day to complete of you take in Ullock Pike and the surrounding lesser fells.

It is set a short stroll from Derwentwater on the edge of Keswick, amid the magnificent western fells of the Lake District. There are two stages, a 400-seat Main House and 100-seat Studio; with productions of classic, modern and new plays throughout the year. Six plays are performed in repertory from May to November by a resident company of up to 14 actors

Lots of quaint shops, great for outdoor clothing and trinkets. Touristy but well worth a visit. Outdoor Market on certain days. Lots of Restaurants and Pubs too to meet all tastes. Take the 554 bus from the Castle Inn and you can enjoy a bevvy too!

Visit the slate mine, cafe and shop. Take a tour of the slate mine and see what can be made out of beautiful green tinged Honister slate. For those that enjoy extreme adventure there is the Via Ferrata (high climbing and infinity bridge previously used by army for extreme heights training).
