I LOVE this park. It's got great hiking trails, part of the Ice Age Trail runs through it, a beautiful lake, cool ancient buildings. It's great in the summer and fantastic cross country skiing.

The Wisconsin River is only about 15 minutes from us and it has incredible views and beeches everywhere. Renting a kayak or canoe is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon or day. Benders will also provide shuttle service back to your car. http://www.canoelady.com/
