Food Scene
Steaks, seafood, pasta and PuPu's. Lobster Bisque and the Focaccia bread is a must! Nightly entertainment ... sometimes a wait for dinner but they serve dinner in the lounge/bar as well! Everything on the menu is delicious....

OMG! The fish tacos are the best on the island!!! Fresh Ono or Mahi Mahi tacos are my favorite, but they will make seared Ahi tacos as well. If you don't care for fresh seafood, the short rib enchiladas are mouthwatering and the large portion is great to share or bring (leftovers) back to the unit to heat up for a late night snack! Everything on the menu is great and they also have a limited, but full cocktail bar. I recommend the Coronarita... very unique! They added a second location in Lihue in the Safeway shopping center near PetCo.

Great "local" place! Ask for a breakfast burrito... It's not on the menu but they will make it for you! It's a local secret. Yum!

Sightseeing
Any of Capt. Andy's adventures are a must. The only way to see the Napali Coast is by boat, helicopter/plane or hiking. There aren't any roads! His super comfortable spacious catamarans will take you on an unforgettable sightseeing adventure of some of the most gorgeous scenery this planet has to offer. Bring swimsuits for snorkeling, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, beach towels and light jacket or sweatshirt. They will provide the rest. Their boat staff will keep you well fed, hydrated (cocktails after the snorkel portion) and informed about the ocean, land and legends of Kauai. Be ready with your cameras... humpback whales (seasonally), turtles, dolphins, sea birds, flying fish and breathtaking landscape. Also recommend an underwater camera for the Snorkel portion.

Great place to buy snacks and drinks for the room. They have a great deli and a huge selection of "Poke" to choose from. They will let you sample the different styles if you haven't tried this delicious Hawaiian food!

Parks & Nature
This trail is one of the most seance trails I have EVER been on. Google it first so you know what to expect. You don't need to be in great shape as you can go as slowly as you need, but you do need to be able to hike steep trails and navigate rocky areas and streams. Best to start the hike early (7am) as parking is limited and once you get to Hanakapiai beach, you may be temped (as I was) to continue the hike to the 300' waterfall. Do not make this hike in bad weather! Cute streams turn into swift flowing rivers and the trail can be very dangerous and even fatal if weather conditions are not respected!!! Please google AND ask the life guards (located at Ke'e Beach) if the trail is safe that day. Please be smart and also.... as we say on the island "take only pictures and memories... and leave only footprints"! Hike your trash out!

It's a local hangout.... sometimes a cover on Fridays and Saturdays. Band's range from so-so to WOW amazing, it's hit or miss. They serve food and a great place to dance. Great place to visit after 10pm. Caution: many locals hang out here so be respectful.
