My Favorite places to eat
We love Silco Bar and kitchen, over looking beautiful St Ives Harbour. If you are lucky to bag one of the outside tables its a perfect spot to take in the views and watch the world go by.
Serving fabulous small plates with a great menu to choose from.
Our personal favorite would be Singapore crab fries and a frozen cocktail 🍹 they also do takeawy drinks allowing you to pop up from the beach and get your favorite tipple

The WharfThe searooms is another favorite of ours, a super relaxed atmosphere serving great food and cocktails.
Perfectly located on the harbour side just a few minutes walk from Sandyfeet cottage.
The Sunday roast is fabulous!!

We love popping in for a “scoffs english” and would recommend trying the “cornish Mist”

We absolutely love Lula Shack, located in North Quay Hayle with views of the estuary and access to the golden sands of Hayle beach.
You can take an open top bus from the top of St Ives Town to Hayle and take a short walk to North Quay.
Perfect in the summer months, where you can sit outside and enjoy the delicious food with a great view.
Or cosy in the colder months next to the log burners, listening to local musicians whilst enjoying a fabulous roast or a yummy hot chocolate.

We absolutely love Lula Shack, located in North Quay Hayle with views of the estuary and access to the golden sands of Hayle beach.

A personal favorite of ours!
We love a walk from St Ives to Carbis Bay beach where you can find the Beach Club Restaurant, in the most stunning location.
Take the coast path just up from Porthminster beach, along to Carbis bay, along the way you will find spectacular views of St Ives Bay out to Godrevy and beyond.
You can also take the train from St Ives train station to the next stop and walk down to the beach if you prefer, or walk one way and get the train back!
We love a stop off at the beach club for a delicious latte and homemade shortbread, or for a treat a long lunch after a walk on the beach.
The beach club describes their menu as “sun soaked Mediterranean style delights such as hand picked crab, fresh fish locally sourced from St Ives day boats, steaks and pizza”

Godrevy is also home to the Grey Seals, who can often be seen in the sea or resting on the beach.
We love the cosy, modern atmosphere here, and have visited frequently after a long walk exploring the beach, or after walking on the headland to spot the seals.
The food here is delicious, and look out for the specials boards which offer fresh fish.
Located in St ives just below the Tate, the beach cafe at Porthmeor offers alfresco dining.
Porthmeor is also one of the best places to watch the sunset, and is well known as the best surfing beach in St Ives.
The beach cafe is open for breakfast through to evening meal.
We recommend booking a pod so you can enjoy dining alfresco with your own little space with views of the sea

Fantastic views here on the headland where you can see both porthgwidden and porthmeor beach. Here we have also seen both dolphins and seals frequenting the water!!
Perfect beach for families to set up for the day and pop back to the cottage for picnic supplies!
