One of the oldest establishments around modeled after Bavaria to celebrate all the German heritage found in the midwest with a wonderful menu of German dishes and weekly celebrations throughout Oktoberfest. I recommend the spatzel and the jager schnitzel. Prost!

Swanky, restored art deco club serves creative, eclectic fare with live jazz on stage nightly. The old tunnels from the prohibition era still exist under this club. If you are lucky to be in town for a burlesque show here, I highly recommend it!

One of the best places to see a class horror film around halloween or any old classic for that matter. The theatre has been around since the 1920's and continues to operate ran by a non-profit.

Aside from its large diverse market, there can be founds 100's of murals around the surrounding streets. Visitors from all over flock to Murals that are painted on just about every vertical surface, from walls of wholesale meat markets to abandoned, crumbling buildings.
