Best food in the neighborhood. I would drive here even if it were far away, but it happens to be really close. Try the appetizer sampler platter ... and order both the cachapa and the arepa. They are very different but both excellent; plus, you can have leftovers!

Love this cool place in the Bishop Arts area. Amazing tacos and wine; and they sometimes have a great DJ spinning in the back when weather is nice. Great walkable area. Head to Emporium Pies after! Or maybe grab a drink/tea/coffee at The Wild Detectives and check out a book or two.

Best street tacos in Dallas. Plus, 24/7. I don't care that it's in a gas station ... YOU WANT THESE TACOS (I recommend pastor and barbacoa). Bring cash, as they don’t take credit (always a good sign). The gas station takes credit for drinks and has an ATM.
Also… if you’ve got a Tesla, there’s a supercharging station here.

Not close but worth it for an authentic Ethiopian experience. If you've never had Ethiopian, this is especially great ... they are very accessible and love having first timers. I have had many special evenings in this place and highly recommend the vegetable platter (Trust me!). And the hot tea is unique and worth trying.
