Plum Island Kayak is out of Newburyport, about 20 minutes right up the Road. They offer tours or rentals. You can choose to stay near the lovely harbor or kayak around the bird sanctuary. (I pull up there on my jet ski--miles of lovely sandy beach accessible by water--usually my hubby and I are the only ones there!)

You can choose to stay near the lovely harbor or kayak around the bird sanctuary. (I pull up there on my jet ski--miles of lovely sandy beach accessible by water--usually my hubby and I are the only ones there!)
The IRWA doesn't "rent" kayaks or canoes but if you become a member, you can borrow them. 2022 membership costs about $40. They have a great website you can check out. (I'm not allowed to list websites, but it is easy to find.)
