Beautiful rocky beach located in the middle of olive tree forest… Valdanos bay is one of the most important places for the citizens of Ulcinj/Ulqin.
The south part of Montenegro in the turistic town Ulcinj you have very unique and special beaches which you won't find anywhere in the world. This whole area has a very rocky coastline and to enable the tourist to take a swim in the sea the locals have created a very special concrete beaches, with many terraces and wooden podiums. There are five of such beaches which are all a more adventurer type of user oriented, because of the high cliffs. And the first one is called plaža Albatros.

Velika Plaža (Long Beach) is a beach in Ulcinj Municipality, Montenegro. It stretches from Port Milena in Ulcinj to the Bojana River, which separates it from Ada Bojana. The sand beach's length is 12,000 meters (8 miles), one of the longest in Europe and the longest beach in Montenegro.

Velika Plaža (Long Beach) is a beach in Ulcinj Municipality, Montenegro. It stretches from Port Milena in Ulcinj to the Bojana River, which separates it from Ada Bojana. The sand beach's length is 12,000 meters (8 miles), one of the longest in Europe and the longest beach in Montenegro.
Ulcinj Old Town or Ulcinj Castle is an ancient castle and neighborhood in Ulcinj, Montenegro. Today mostly inhabited by Albanians, it was built by the Illyrians on a small peninsula at the right side of the Pristan Gulf, which is part of the Adriatic Sea. Today, oldest remains are the Cyclopean Wall. The castle has been restored many times since it was first built although major changes were made by the Byzantinians, Serbs, Venetians, and Ottomans. The modern city of Ulcinj was built outside of this castle.
