Mahi Nic's is a scratch kitchen so all their food comes out very fresh! The Mahi sandwich is the TOP of the menu and at market price but it will be an experience you can share with someone else. The 8 Mile burgers are a personal favorite, and priced very well with fries. You cannot miss with the shrimp/fish tacos either. Everything on the menu is great! Try their sweet tea/lemonade, it is so refreshing! You can also get info on dolphin watches, see the boats in the slips, maybe catch some dolphins going after fish in the docks.

This is the islands art center. They are always hiring new artists, and bringing in new activities. There are classes they offer like a guided painting activity, or whatever medium theyre working in at the time. It is a great spot to get out of the sun & do something different than drinking, eating, or being on the beach.

A very very good spot for an American brunch and they make some Mexican breakfast foods that will blow you away! We enjoy the chilaquiles, the pancakes, & their bloody Marys! You will love your meals from here if you are in for some quick pick up food or sit down inside before 2pm.

The downtown brownsville area has been going through changes recently & with that some of the nicest spots for getting a drink with friends. This location is a stellar pizza place & they have great wine selections. There is also Morning Glory for brunch & main street deli as far as food goes. The downtown brownsville area is right next to the border to Mexico. You can drive along the wall & see the areas around there. You can even go to Mexico with a valid ID to return.
