Quiet & comfortable with prompt service.choose your fruit juice & choose your tea or coffee(served in big mugs). Western/English breakfast with doorstep delicious toast.

Truly excellent coffee with latte art to match. Friendly welcoming service and very willing to accommodate a family with a pram. Plenty of cakes and snacks on offer but again, you go for the coffee. It is excellent coffee in Kyoto.

Less than 10min walk to this Beef Katsu place. The beef for both were extremely delicious! There were clear pictures and instructions that showed us how to eat Gyukatsu and we had 3 sauces provided for us. Expect to wait a while to get seated, but definitely worth it.

The noodles are made upstairs, topped with roasted as well as raw green onion. The store looks really gorgeous and real Kyoto Machiya style.

Less than 30min from our house. You better prepare for the little hiking with your sneakers. You need to walk up a long street that goes straight up. There is lots of shopping along this street with places that offer geisha dress up. The views overlooking Kyoto from this temple are beautiful.
