Do you love live music, killer cover bands and movies for the kids?! Well then this could be your newest happy place! Check out the event calendar to buy tickets to a fun event. Lava Cantina has a large outdoor stage and their musical acts are top notch. Many tickets start at around 15.00 but often times general admission can be free. They also do Sat at noon family movies. There is indoor seating available if you just want to eat.
***PRO TIP*** If there is a BIG act performing that night it is easier to get an Uber from the house. You are very close so the Uber charge isnt bad but parking can get crazy. So arrive early!
My husband and I went to see the Guns and Roses experience (a cover band) and it was AWESOME! The sound system is great especially for being outdoors and the service was fast. I am not a guns and roses fan but the band played the songs really well and told the story of the band and what was going on at the time the song was written and performed. It was very much like watching an episode of MTVs behind the music but with a LOT more music. LOL SO much fun and OfCourse they did honor 80s fashion which...was hilarious and awesome.

THIS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!! Its really fun and not so overwhelming that you get packed in like sardines. They have a really great wave pool and the lines for the water slides tend to not be too bad. This is also a great place for little ones that want to splash but cant swim yet. Welcome to the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. (The people watching here is incredible) You don't have to be a Dallas Cowboy's fan to enjoy the star! There is a big screen and a miniature football field where you will find people running around, throwing the football around or just walking around. There are a lot of great food options and unique events to watch. I enjoyed watching draft week here! They also put every cowboys game on the big screen and fans from all over flock to the outdoor turf area to sit and watch the game with other fans. Its really a great time! They also close the streets for Flea Style markets where they bring in companies from all over to share their unique products and services. Also there is an Esports training facility here and top of the line sports injury practitioners. The Star also hosts some of the college football combine events and its really neat to see the players walking around and just being able to strike up a conversation.

***PROTIP***If you want to work out at CowboyFit, which is located in the Dallas Cowboys headquarters you can buy a week pass. This is a top of the line facility with trainers that train the cowboy players as well. You will see former players, athletes of all types and ofcourse their families. The gym is located next to the Nike store on the ground floor just outside the Totitos turf arena. If you want to buy a week pass give me a call and I can my cowboys fit rep set that up for you via email.

Grocery/Pharmacy
Are there other grocery stores...yes...but they aren't as good! (plus this one is just 2 miles up the road!)
Things I like:
1. They have a bar...yes so you can drink beer and grocery shop. LOL Which is something I never thought I would do as an adult but it does make going to happy hour more productive.
2. LOTS of variety of higher-quality premade meals
3. They will load your groceries into your car! Which I really love because it makes it easier to get my kids loaded into the car. They WILL NOT accept your cash tips, as its the store policy.
4. They have many of your not the typical grocery items that can be hard to find.
What I don't like:
There are cheaper grocery stores. Kroger is directly across the street and is cheaper on similar items, but they lack the high-quality grab and go food items that market street has on hand all the time. (Kroger is open until 1am)

There are a few CVS pharmacies slightly closer but Ive found that this one has consistently had what I needed in a pinch in stock. Plus this its in a really nice part of town with a Chase bank and donut shop in the same parking lot. Market street grocery store is also in the same intersection.

Food scene
So yes there are other basic pizza delivery options nearby but Romeo's is just better! If you go online you can order ahead of time and choose when they deliver it and they have REALLY good coupons online for multiple pizza orders. Also for larger groups you can order pizza by the sheet or XL size pizza. They also have cauliflower crust and other options to accommodate food allergies.

Legacy Hall is where you can go to find food that you thought only existed on instagram! The set up is simple...each restaurant is condensed into a booth similarly to a foodcourt at the mall. There is a lot of open seating indoors and outdoors they have the box garden theater where live music is often playing.

I wouldn't take my kids here late night but I do take them during the day. (I really like their salad options.) They have garage parking and everything is really well lit. So if you stay late or have a large group of women going out by themselves Id feel very safe going here.
