(MEDIUM/ADVANCED LEVEL HIKE, Bring a backpack and water!) One of my favorite hiking trails on the Greenbelt! The Hill of Life trail is a hike down a mountainside and onto the Barton Creek Greenbelt. The trail runs along the river, so feel free to jump in and cool off! The trail also leads to Sculpture Falls, where you can relax by a natural water fall (just be sure you go after it has rained or it will be dry!)

Barton Springs is one of the most must-visit places in all of Austin! Known for its natural, spring-fed stream, the creek offers one of the best spots to cool off in the city. Try the Barton Springs pool (only $5/day) for shady space to lay out and enjoy the scenery
