The Hidden Hut is quiet simply a hidden gem on our doorstep. You can only get to the hut by foot which is a lovely short 10 minute walk from The Hideaway. The Hut serves a small menu of simple, fresh made lunches and refreshments. No need to book, all items are packed to takeaway onto the beach as a picnic or enjoy their seated area with rustic wooden tables over looking Porthcurnick Bay. There are no fat fryers just a simple outdoor stove with local ingredients. Ranging from soups, stews, chowders and dhal to the big beach salads and grilled mackerel from local boats. (and of course traditional Cornish pasties!) they serve fresh cakes out of the oven every morning with freshly ground coffee. The Hidden Hut is renowned for being inThe Times newspaper. They sell the famous Hidden Hut recipe book which really do have some delicious, easy recipes in which can be purchased at The Hut. There are public toilets on site. Opening hours vary due to the season but generally they are open all year round serving lunch from 12. I'd say it's a must to go checkout and you won't be disappointed! Card only.

Although this isn’t on the Roseland itself, I recommend visiting. It’s an independent museum located on the Discovery Quay in Falmouth TR11 3QY. It’s a great day out by getting the St Mawes foot ferry. It only takes 20 minutes on the ferry and then you get to walk down the old town bustling streets of Falmouth.
