Sightseeing

Crocker Park is an elevated park that overlooks the whole harbor. It’s one of our favorite places to sit, admire the breathtaking views, and breathe some fresh salt air in. In the summer, there is access to a public dock where you can swim!

City/town information

Salem, MA is about a 5-10 minute drive from town. Also known as Witch City, it has a deep historic charm to it and is very popular around Halloween. Salem has some awesome restaurants and bars to enjoy year round. Some of our favorites are… - Bambolina (Italian/wood fired pizzas) - Howling Wolf (Mexican) - Koto (Chinese takeout) - Ledger (an old bank turned fantastic brunch place) - Opus (mix of cuisines) - Kokeshi (ramen) - Finz (seafood/American with patio on the harbor) -

Boston is about a 35 minute drive from Marblehead with no traffic and you can see the Boston skyline from the Neck. There are plenty of things to do in Boston! Andrew and I met in Boston and lived there for several years. Here are some recommendations: Restaurants Back Bay: - Buttermilk and Bourbon (southern tapas style) - Red Lantern (Asian) - Earl’s Kitchen + Bar (is inside the prudential and is a mix of styles, but primarily a great rooftop bar) - Citrus and Salt (Mexican tapas style) - Eataly (different restaurants within a big market, great wood fired pizzas) - Tatte Bakery (they have locations all around. awesome for lunch or to go sandwiches/salads/baked goods) South End - Barcelona Wine Bar (Spanish tapas) - Banyan Bar (Asian) - Beehive Restaurant (great brunch with live music!) China Town - The Q restaurant (great hot pot!) - Shojo The North End - Il Panino - Quattro Seaport - Lolita’s (Spanish/Mexican tapas style) -Committee (Mediterranean) Downtown - Yvonne’s (American/great drinks) - Ruka (Peruvian-Japanese-Chinese) To Do - Prudential (has shops you can walk around and a couple of restaurants) - Newbury St (shops/ restaurants all down one road) - The Gardens (great park with different types of trees and a little pond) - Faneuil Hall (food, shops) - Lawn on D (outdoor events) - Breweries (Harpoon, Sam Adam’s, Night Shift, Down East) - Walk/bike the Esplanade (have docks/benches you can sit on/great sunsets by the water) - Flight Club (darts bar)
