Google this beach and you will know why we are recommending it! Pictures alone will not do it justice. This is a must see on your stay. There is also a paintball field in the back. Great fun!

I honestly would pick Waimanalo Bay Beach park over Lanikai any day. First off, parking is a developing issue, there are no public bathrooms and open fires are frowned upon.
