Yes, we’re talking about the gas station down the street. It really may be the best burger in town. Call about 20 min before you’re ready to eat and they’ll have it waiting. You can also buy a Lake Worth boating permit here for $15. It’s a sticker that you’ll apply to your boats trailer tongue. Permits are necessary for boaters launching at the public boat ramp.

This place is the subject of an inside joke among a few of our friends. One of their dads adamantly claims El Paseo is the best Mexican food in town. We’ll agree that it’s a close runner up, and highly recommend for lunch or dinner. And their breakfast on Saturday and Saturday is a family staple.

You wouldn’t think a little old building on the side of Hwy 199 in Fort Worth, Texas has the best Vietnamese food and pho in the DFW metroplex, but that’s what we have here folks.

Almost every Texas lake we know of has a restaurant on it. This is ours. The food is just alright but it’s a family favorite after a day on the lake. You can pull your boat up to their dock, tie up, grab a bite and then head back out. That never gets old.
