Jesuit church of st. Josef
During communist times this church was turned into the first Slovene movie studio. Now it's again a catholic Jesuit church where every Sunday at 10 am they also have a mass in English. Next door there is a Jesuit center with a small hotel where pilgrims walking on Slovenian Jacobs's path can sleep.

13 Ulica Janeza Pavla II.During communist times this church was turned into the first Slovene movie studio. Photogenic street
A lovely ancient street was made more beautiful with plants and benches. It is linking Križanke with the Ljubljanica river bank.
Right at the exit from Križanke (concert venue) is where I got my Duran Duran concert ticket signed by Simon Le Bon. Yes!
The street has a small theatre, an Asian restaurant, and two Plečnik related monuments nearby (Križanke and NUK). NUK is our national university library and it's worth visiting especially for the study room - this is where I spent many hours studying during my student years.

Ljubljana has always had its castle vineyard, but time has erased it over the centuries. If you walk to Ljubljana Castle on the main road and make your way through the forest, you can't miss the castle vineyard.
