The Bayview is a great pub with excellent pub meals and is family friendly. The Bistro take booking for tables inside, but the outdoor area is first come first serve.

Parks & Nature
The foreshore reserve is part of a bike path that makes its way all the way to Gosford in one direction and to Woy Woy in the opposite direction. There is a small park for the kids to play in, seating for a picnic and two new boat ramps for the boat enthusiasts. Occasionally in summer, a fruit and vegetable truck will sell there produce there too.
I'm not sure why the profile pic shows police cars, the foreshore is far more beautiful than that.

Umina beach is the safest beach in the area and great for families. There is an area towards pearl beach called kiddies corner, which has very little surf and perfect for little ones to splash and play.

This park is located just behind the beach and is fantastic for families to picnic or just stop for a quick cuppa and let the kids work their energy out. There is something for everyone, including the teens. There is a canteen and cafe located there as well serving food and coffees. Well worth a visit with the family.
