A great spot for healthier options compared to the more local German fare. The Power Bowl is amazing and vegetarian friendly.

Waylon, Willy, and the boys! Iconic spot just 15 minutes east of town. Most live music is free during the day but you have to buy tickets for some night shows by well known artists. Beer is sold in the old post office and BBQ is cooking outside in the food trailer.

You can see the hill country for miles from the top of a huge granite rock (.5 mile hike straight to the top). Longer/easier trails surround the rock. Beautiful for sunrise and sunset.
