A great park down in the coulee river bottom. There are many paved trails and dirt trails that will meander throughout the entire park. Lots of wildlife, day camping spots including fire pits. Playgrounds a scattered throughout. Go explore the fort or Nature centre. Really an awesome place for trail running, and mountain biking. Go watch the train go over the highest and longest train bridge in North America.

An amazing large sandy beach on a nice lake. The beach gets bigger and bigger as the lake drops from irrigation use. Water stays shallow for a long ways out. Best time to go is in July. Free. This is a local secret.

A great little park to go sledding at. Awesome hills. There is a play ground, and you can follow the path under the street to take a scenic walk in the coulees. You can walk here from the house, just head north and follow the green strip park up to the hill.
