Sandvika is a 20 minute bike ride away, (or go by bus). Sandvika is a small town with shops, huge shopping senter, and plenty of cafe´s, restaurants and cinemas. There is a big island called Kadettangen which is good for walking, swimming. (Skiing in winter).

Henie Onstad Art Center was founded by the famous skater Henie Onstad and her husband. The setting which is by the sea is beautiful . There are a lot of interesting exhibitions here. There is also a restaurant.

Brand new swimming pool, open 6.00 a.m til 9.00 p.m every week day, Saturday and Sunday 9.00 a.m til 6.00 p.m. Fantastic view from grassy rooftop. Good for picnic´s when the weather permits.
