Arpico was one of my fave supermarkets, it is a chain. Now fave is Glomark - nearer to home. The one here is the close to home. It sells food and household items,. There is Alcohol in a separate shop in the basement of Arpico. You can easily grab a tuk tuk from here to home.

147 Galle RdArpico was one of my fave supermarkets, it is a chain. Now fave is Glomark - nearer to home. The one here is the close to home. It sells food and household items,. There is Alcohol in a separate shop in the basement of Arpico. You can easily grab a tuk tuk from here to home.
Paradise Road is a chain. It has beautiful dining and household items, they are quite unique, not overly priced. There is a Paradise Road Shop inside the Gallery Cafe Restaurant.

Vidharamahadevi Park Art Street, Up town Colombo, if you get a Tuk Tuk to here you will want to stop 10 times there are so many shops and places to discover.

My fave local market, Fruit, Veg, Parking behind the market, fresh seafood and prawns in the wet market. Make sure to check out the top floor small supermarkets have foreign brands up there like Soya and Oatmilk.

This is a shop and you can get massages here. The shop itself is a work of art - there are many around Colombo. The range of soaps, shampoo, scrubs, perfumes will make everyone happy. They are top quality and the fragrances are amazing.
