This brewery is definitely a "must go"! Tons of seating, inside and out. They offer excellent beer and it's a popular stop for local folks and tourists. One of my favorite items there is bison burger with sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious!

Situated in a 1930s-era building on the grounds of a historic CCC camp, Burial Beer Co.'s Forestry Camp Bar & Restaurant offers unique and awesome atmosphere, some excellent craft beers, and a menu split between casual bar bites downstairs and more formal dining on the second floor. It's a cool concept for an eatery and as good a place for a laidback brew or two as some date-night haute cuisine.

White Duck Taco shop is a top secret place in Asheville to enjoy the freshest tacos around. There's a variety of selections including duck tacos! Awesome watermelon sangria, like you just juiced a melon. Unique and colorful atmosphere inside and out. This place does get crowded but the line usually moves quickly.

This food truck is a real gem in Candler! It's is only 11 mins away from the cabin. The truck offers fantastic fun food. My favorites are crunchwrap and sloppy joe. Staff and the owners are fantastic!

My favorite experiences
I highly recommend a visit to Last Penny Alpaca Farm! It's such a special and magical experience. Alpacas are very adorable and full of personality and are so good with children. During your visit (the tour lasts over an hour) you learn about them, pet them and hang out with them. Erin (the owner) is very friendly, sweet, kind, patient and very knowledgeable. The trail is short (only about a mile) and it's pretty easy. It does cool down a lot at night so make sure to bring warm clothes.
This is one of the best climbing gyms in the USA with an excellent bike park. This place is great for adults and kids. Climb, bike, boulder, lounge and end your activity with a beer from the bar.

If you like fishing, you will have a blast at the Cooper Creek Trout Farm. Staff is very informative and friendly. The area I beautiful and wooded. You mostly pay by the pound, with a small cover charge and cleaning charge.

I cannot say enough about this place. The secluded hot tubs are incredible. Your body feels so relaxed after soaking in the mineral tubs where the water is naturally heated to close to 100 degrees. I highly recommend doing the high end tub with the pit for 90 mins. Bring wine, cheese and crackers and treat yourself to a very romantic experience!

Your body feels so relaxed after soaking in the mineral tubs where the water is naturally heated to close to 100 degrees. I highly recommend doing the high end tub with the pit for 90 mins. Bring wine, cheese and crackers and treat yourself to a very romantic experience!

Max Patch is one of the most spectacular settings you'll experience in the Blue Ridge. It's a 350-acre tract of open land on a high know with 360-degree views. On a clear day, see Mt. Mitchell to the east and the Great Smoky Mountains to the south. What a picnic spot! The summit is a short hike from the parking area deep in Pisgah National Forest. Follow one of the two easier blue blaze trails to the Appalachian Trail and summit. Hike up one trail, cross the summit and back down the other for a total of 1.7 miles.
