Fayetteville offers a unique and extensive trail network for travel on foot, electric scooter (available thru app rental), or bike. Access to this paved/lighted trail is just a 5 min walk (access behind Wood Stone Craft Pizza). Fayetteville's trails will connect you to businesses, restaurants, events and cultural sites all over town. The Razorback Greenway is the 40-mile spine of the trail system which extends from Kessler Park in south Fayetteville to Lake Bella Vista, north of Bentonville.

Our Favorite 5+ Coffee Shops

Arsaga's Mill District: Essential Fayetteville experience and our family's all-around favorite, only a 5 minute walk away. We love the atmosphere with plenty of seating. Onyx Coffee Lab: nationally renowned coffee with locations all over Northwest AR. Old Pine Coffee: one of the only 16oz Americanos that come standard w/ 4 shots of espresso Puritan: very good sit-down coffee on Dickson Street (15 min walk) Hail Fellow Well Met Cafe: trendy, unique space for small bites serving Onyx coffee (also checkout weekend brunch) Locals Drive Thru: best latte in town (recommend the Herbalicious)

Emergency Care

We have provided a small first aid kit under the sink. You can also find Walgreens around the corner. If you need a doctor, Kara's Health Care is an office we frequently use with bilingual staff. If emergency care is required there are a couple options: Mana Urgent Care (2 locations) or Washington Regional Medical Center in north Fayetteville.

Arsaga's Mill District: (5 min walk) Our family's all-around favorite. We love the atmosphere with plenty of seating and exceptional menu/drinks. Nomads: Arkansas' biggest mimosa brunch with the most mimosa flavors & great menu. Two locations at Trailside (chill atmosphere) and Southtown with occasional brunch DJ (party atmosphere). Little Bread Company: (12 min walk) our family favorite and Fayetteville tradition. Prelude Breakfast Bar: (18 min walk) call ahead, there's usually a wait but definitely worth it. The Farmer's Table: locally-sourced, country style menu. Very popular.

Lunch

Tiny Tim's Pizza: (10 min walk) where the locals hang out. For the best atmosphere, find a table on the bar side of the restaurant (right entrance). Petra Cafe: (15 min walk) open 11-2:30, a small Mediterranean cafe and our favorite quick lunch spot. Hugo's: (12 min walk) this is the place to go for burgers! A Fayetteville classic since '77 in a basement den with a full bar. Call ahead to check on the wait. Hammontree's: (20 min walk) fun atmosphere w/ innovative grilled cheeses.

Dinner

Wood Stone Craft Pizza + Bar: (5 min walk) artisan pizza from locally-sourced ingredients - second location uptown. The Wedge and Wings are our favorites. Xuma Kitchen: (13 min walk) authentic Mexican and family friends. Ask for their hot sauce (Huyub) which comes in 6 levels of heat (I designed the bottle). Tula: (12 min walk) high-end authentic Mexican food with the best tequila selection in town. Leverette Lounge: upscale dining with hipster vibes for a relaxed diner date-night. Atlas the Restaurant: best fine dining in the city. Chef-owned restaurant with a sophisticated menu.

Best Takeout

Penguin Ed's: (5 minute walk) award winning BBQ right around the corner in our neighborhood. Thai Esan: best Thai food in town and our most frequented spot for takeout Mangos: delicious town favorite for drive-thru tacos. Don't be scared by the line, it moves quickly. Geraldi's: serving our favorite pizza in town for over 30 years (dine-in or takeout).

Where Locals Drink

Crisis Brewing Company.: (5 min walk) hidden in our neighborhood with lots of patio seating. Prairie Street Bar & Tap: (7 min walk) laid back neighborhood bar that sits on the bike trail. Pinpoint: (15 min walk) fun, underground pinball bar. Maxine's Taproom: (15 min walk) a Fayetteville tradition since 1950. Very popular. Extensive cocktail menu. Popcorn recommended. Fossil Cove: fun atmosphere and our favorite brewery in town. Fox Trail Distillery: (Rogers) creative cocktails made from high-quality spirits that are distilled, aged and bottled in-house.

Things to do Outdoors

Razorback Greenway: access to this paved/lighted trail is just a 5 min walk. Travel thru town on foot, bike, or electric scooter (rental). Walker Park: (8 min walk) basketball, disc golf, soccer fields, skate park & splash pad. Wilson Park: 23 acre park centered in a historic neighborhood with pool, miniature castle, tennis, volleyball and basketball, and 1 mile loop trail. Lake Fayetteville: two city parks + disc golf, boat dock and marina, boat and bike rentals, and 5 miles of trail around the lake. Kessler Mountain Park: popular for MTB and hiking with 10+ miles of trail.
