The old railroad depot was built circa 1915 and was a popular stop on the route. The building sat vacant for years and was ran-down. In 2007 the After 26 project was set into motion. After many years of renovations, the depot was restored to it's former glory and After 26 Depot & Cafe opened it's doors in 2013. Check website for hours

A 10 mile multi-terrain, multi-season hiking, biking, summer trail, that transitions into a groomed classic cross country ski trail system in the winter. It’s located at the foothills of Caberfae Peaks, and meanders into the National Forest. The entrance is located on 38 Mile Road, 1 mile west of Caberfae. This trail is maintained by local volunteers in cooperation with the National Forest Service.

The Big "M" trail is a 37.9 mile loop trail system located in a canopy of hardwoods off of M-55 between Cadillac and Wellston. The trail offers a variety of terrain to challenge every biking and skiing experience level as you traverse up and down hills through the woods.

The Pine River Paddlesport Center rents canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, rubber rafts and tubes on Michigan's premier paddlesport rivers, the Pine and Big Manistee.

Our trips are offered daily Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. We are also open weekends in May, September and October with weekdays by reservation or please phone ahead to insure we are there to service your trip. We have a variety of trips to choose from, whether it’s your first time canoeing or 100th time. We provide shuttle services for all of our rentals, so your vehicle may remain parked in our lot until your return. We love animals and pets are always welcome in our canoes or kayaks. Please follow all leash laws and clean up after them. Pets are not allowed in tubes or rafts.

A fertile body of water, 50% of the lake is 15 feet deep or less. This site offers pier fishing, shore/wade angling on nearly 1.5 miles of Lake Cadillac shoreline, in addition to a boat launch. Lake Cadillac offers a wide variety of fish such as Walleye, Perch, Bluegill, Pan Fish, Bass and Northern Pike.
