Walking
There are a few great parks and trails that we love to walk around here. Our favorites in order are Lehigh Parkway, Trexler Park, Trexler Nature Preserve and Allentown Rose Gardens along with the Nieghborhood streets just north of the rose garden.
Perfect walking spot to see the river, trees, historic homes and bridges. It is gravel, so it can get muddy right after rain.

This one is about a 20+ minute drive, but if you want to get out and take a hike and walk some trails not near a city, this is a good place to do it. It鈥檚 also located next to the Lehigh Valley Zoo, a tiny cute zoo if you have kids.

4935 Orchard RdThis one is about a 20+ minute drive, but if you want to get out and take a hike and walk some trails not near a city, this is a good place to do it. It鈥檚 also located next to the Lehigh Valley Zoo, a tiny cute zoo if you have kids.
Cute little Allentown park with a loop about 1 mile long. This rose garden is beautiful in the spring and summer.

Cute little Italian spot, with really good food. Can definitely be crowded so call ahead or put your name in and walk around Main Street Bethlehem.

If you are looking for a nice steakhouse, give Oak a shot and definitely get a drink on the rooftop bar before or after your meal. Definitely call ahead before making the trek out to Easton.

Allentown - Union and Finch is a 5 minute drive from our place and is some of the better food in Allentown. Nothing fancy, but quality food. They are known for their brunch on the weekend and I love the burger and beer night on Thursday鈥檚.

I am not much of a seafood person and but I know people that like seafood and they go to Youell鈥檚. It鈥檚 also a 10 minute walk from the house so that鈥檚 fun!

Bethlehem - (fine dining)
If you are staying with us this week, it might be too late to book a table at Bolete, but this is a local favorite. Definitely pricy but you are eating fine dining food in an old stone home, so it鈥檚 an experience.

This is where me and Stasia get our take out sushi. We don鈥檛 get sushi from anywhere and here it seems to be very fresh consistently. Call ahead your order and take it down the street to Trexler Memorial Park or the Allentown Rose Garden for a picnic.

There are plenty of breweries in the area, please let me know if you like breweries and I would be happy to talk to you about the many options in the area.
McCalls - good beer and food
Funk - good IPA鈥檚 but more of a grab a 4-pack to go place.
Bonn Place - great beer, very small.

There are multiple outdoor stages for live music, a movie theater that plays more artistic movies and the Wind Creek Casino, bars and shopping is all connected to the same spot. Winery鈥檚
We don鈥檛 have too many great wineries, but the ones we have are all in the same area so that鈥檚 great!
Always call ahead or check out their website because Folino鈥檚 seems to be changing things regularly with Covid. They sometimes have events, live music, normal dining but it鈥檚 honestly just a beautiful spot to hangout with a glass of wine at sunset.

Call ahead, I think they still do their wine tasting room. It鈥檚 about $10 and you try 5 wines then buy your favorite bottle and head downstairs to listen to hopefully some music and have a cheese board.
