Roata Norocului (Wheel of Luck) is one of the greatest places to try some Romanian food. If you get lucky, you can enjoy live music in the evening.
We recommend 'ciorba de burta' (soup) and papanasi (desert).

This speciality coffee place is located in Curtea Honterus, exactly next to the Black Church.
They serve one of the best coffees around the city centre, providing also a very nice view to the historic monument and Tampa hill.

Schilthorn is by far the prettiest speciality coffee place you can visit in Brasov. It is not in the city centre, but next to Coresi mall and a new residential area.

After Stube is a very nice and cozy place for anyone who fancies a selection of locally crafted beers and snacks.
We enjoy their summer garden, but also having a nice mulled wine during winter periods.
The owner of this location is also brewing the local Czell beer, which I highly recommended to taste.

If you fancy Italian food, this is the place to be! Artegianale has a wide range of imported cheese, meat and pasta from the best Italian regions. We abolutely adore the truffle tortellini, seafood pasta and their signature cheese cake and tiramisu.
Make sure to call for reservations because it’s always fully booked on weekends!

On the high end list, this restaurant is close to what a Michellin list place would serve (only prices aren’t that high).
I enjoyed both octopus dishes and Victor went for the deer, which was amazing too.
We also liked their cocktails, especially if you want to try unique combinations.

Tampa hill is best suited for short hikes. The trail starts right in the middle of the city and after an one-hour climb you get an amazing panoramic view over the whole city.
Alternatively, you can take the cable car directly to the hill top.
