Mac. Hands down our favorite pizza place ever. They do all kinds of other creative things in the oven too with vegetables etc. and their summer salads are instantly crave worthy. Save room for the beignets as dessert.

Carlton. This a great, casual place for lunch or dinner with great ambience enhanced by its vintage pedigree. The food is definitely gastro-pub level. One of my favorite dishes is the winter squash salad and the fries here rank in the top 5 of any we have had, fresh cut, in house.

3rd Street has good shopping and restaurants
Carlton is growing as you can tell by looking around as you drive in. It was a logging town historically and now has morphed into the quintessential small Oregon wine-centric, funky, quaint friendly place it it today. For small necessities the Deli on Main is a good spot and they make really nice sandwiches too.
You can’t throw a rock downtown without hitting a tasting room serving great pinot noir. Be sure to check out Ken Wright, Tendril and Big Table Farm

Carlton is growing as you can tell by looking around as you drive in. For meat check out Carlton Farms, not far from where you are staying.
Our wine is available to taste at Distaff Winery which is located at 2761 E Ninth St, and Steve is there, pouring our wine exclusively, on Sundays.
