Neighborhoods
An old neighborhood, which is vigorously being renovated. A mixture of young families and true Masstrichtenars. After putting the highway underground, and creating a city park -- the "Groene Loper" -- this area is slowly becoming much more vibrant and active than in the past. You are within walking distance (<10 min) to the central station, the "Groene Loper", and across the station the Wyck Neighborhood. Quiet, yet close to everything. The city center (across the river) and the MECC are about a 10-15 minute walk away -- both on a very nice route.

Excellent terrace near the heart of the newly renovated neighborhoods, with playgrounds around. Awesome place to grab a drink, hapjes are great, food can be hit or miss.

Excellent Persian kitchen. Incredible lunch for the money. Quiet street within a quick walk from the house for a great meal while avoiding the busyness of the city.

My favorite restaurant. Two person operation, the chef works the kitchen and his wife works the tables. Always a treat. Highly recommended for a nice night out.
