Mount Baldy is a sand dune located in Indiana Dunes National Park. It is on the southern shore of Lake Michigan and is 126 feet tall. It's about a 30 minute drive from the cottage.
You can have a nice little hike towards the beach, enjoying a very peculiar scenery!

Mount Baldy is a sand dune located in Indiana Dunes National Park. It is on the southern shore of Lake Michigan and is 126 feet tall. It's about a 30 minute drive from the cottage.
You can have a nice little hike towards the beach, enjoying a very peculiar scenery!

Spicer Lake Nature Preserve
50840 County Line RoadSmall park, quiet, clean and well maintained, located just about a 8 minute drive from the cottage. There are multiple trails, well marked and they are mostly flat with a few rises. There is a wide range of experiences: woodlands, wetlands, boardwalks, lakeside, etc. Lots of wildlife.
Boating
The access is located on the northwest corner of the lake’s backwaters, and it's about a 4 minute drive from the cottage. It includes a concrete boat ramp and a gravel parking area for approximately 20 vehicles with boat trailers. The ramp drops off quickly into deeper water, making it possible to launch larger boats as well as small ones.
Hudson Lake Public Access Ramp
