Firule is a sandy beach not so famous as Bacvice where usually locals go. Especially families with children. Thehe you can often see locals play Picigin, a common ball game. There are nice cafe's nearby with a very nice view.

This is my favourite restauurant! 🙂 Its probably the best one in town. You can see that this place is run by someone who really likes what she does. They prepare traditional dalmatian food. The menu changes every day depending on what they find on the fish and green market. They buy only local and fresh ingredients. The prices are ok as well.

During the day you can see various tourist attractions or climb to the tower of St. Dominus.

Hvar is the sunniest island and is also reachable with ferries or catamarans from Split. Other islands you can travel to from Split are Solta, Korcula, Mljet, Lastovo, Vis...

If you have time and like wine, you can do wine tasting at Peskafondo wine bar. Or just enjoy a glass of wine, coctail, fresh squeezed juice or have a typical dalmatian snack. It is located on a small peninsula called Primosten and is cca. 1 hour drive from Apartment Valerius.
You will enjoy the wine, amazing view and the nice beach nearby.
The owners are a couple with 3 sweet daughters. Delphine, originally from France speaks english and french and her housband Marko is a wine lover and expert for many many years.
