Good food, fun vibe and the kids like it. They also have take out. Crowded with a frequent wait but currently you can get on the wait list in advance using Yelp and they claim you get preference which seems to have worked for us.

Harold's is a large restaurant bar with an old west theme. We found it was good for dinner with the family. It's usually crowded but we have not encountered a significant wait. There is occasionally live music and they also serve breakfast.

Brown's ranch is a great place to mountain bike and hike. You do not need to go all the way to the trailhead, access is about a block away at the east end of Stagecoach road. There are maps available online https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ/Preserve/Preserve+North+Area+Trail+Map.pdf

Great mountain biking and hiking trails. This is a remote and technical ride with hike-a-bike and can be ridden as a big loop from the property or shuttle to spur cross. This is more of an adventure experience and it a tough route so be prepared.

Lake has recreational opportunities and is a scenic drive.
